‘Plants on Main’ is proudly owned and operated by Scone local, Jo Bailey

Jo is a Scone based businesswoman and avid gardener who saw the potential in Plants on Main, which already had the bones of something beautiful: greenery, good coffee, and a Main Street location that invites people in.

In November 2025, Jo bought the nursery and began shaping it into what it is today — a space that feels warm, calm, and genuinely welcoming. Not fussy. Not formal. Just a place where people can take a breath, connect, and leave feeling a little better than when they arrived.

It didn’t take long for word to spread. Now, Plants on Main has become a popular stop for both locals and visitors exploring the Upper Hunter — part nursery, part café, part community corner.
